Driver airbag and curtain airbags deployed. I have since had the car at the body shop on a frame machine, to check that the rails are straight (they are). I swapped in a complete radiator support from another GTI, with radiator/AC condenser/intercooler attached from that car. Mechanically, it’s good to go. Starts, runs and drives. I also purchased aftermarket stock replacement (CAPA) hood and front bumper cover, as well as center grille that goes between the headlights. It still needs fog lights/fog light grills/headlights. Passenger side fender needs a little work, as the corner is bent up. When I got the car, the plastic oil pan had a slight gouge on it, so I replaced that with a new VW one.
